RESTORATION BEGINS with the CUPOLA CAMPAIGN

The Restoration Begins with the Cupola Campaign at the Ravalli County Museum Farmers market
in Hamilton. The project is in full swing and we are proud of the
historic restoration taking place outside as well as the soon to begin
interior renovations. The Old County Courthouse designed by A.
J. Gibson has been close to the heart of the downtown for over 100
years. The events that have taken place inside its hallowed halls
and ante chambers have had the power to change people’s lives and
make stories worth retelling. The Old Court House has been the
site of countless historic events, trials, day to day activities and
more recently many cultural explorations as well.
The Mission of the Museum is to preserve the cultural heritage of
the Bitter Root Valley for you and future generations. As the home
of the Ravalli County Museum it now has a fresh vision to present
to the public. This Spring, as part of the ongoing evolution of this
magnificent old building, you will experience the grand opening
of several new exhibits, enhanced educational programming and
a refurbished space that will draw you in … to history. Keep up
